elementor - v3.5.5 - 03-02-2022 *\/\n.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-stacked .elementor-drop-cap{background-color:#818a91;color:#fff}.elementor-widget-text-editor.elementor-drop-cap-view-framed .elementor-drop-cap{color:#818a91;border:3px solid;background-color:transparent}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap{margin-top:8px}.elementor-widget-text-editor:not(.elementor-drop-cap-view-default) .elementor-drop-cap-letter{width:1em;height:1em}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap{float:left;text-align:center;line-height:1;font-size:50px}.elementor-widget-text-editor .elementor-drop-cap-letter{display:inline-block}<\/style>\t\t\t\t<p>The School seeking affiliation and affiliated schools should also satisfy the following <br \/>conditions as per norms of Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018 and circular no. 10.2019 dated <br \/>08.03.2019.<br \/><b>Chapter 7<\/b>: School Management Committee<br \/>Subject to the relevant provision in the Education Act of the State\/UT concerned, every <br \/>affiliated school should have a scheme of management as per the following clauses.<br \/><b>8.1<\/b> All the schools affiliated with the board shall have a School Management Committee as <br \/>stipulated in RTE Act 2009, any other enactment or regulations framed by the <br \/>State\/Appropriate Government.<br \/><b>8.2<\/b> Composition of School Management Committee:<br \/><b>8.2.1<\/b> The management committee of a recognized aided school shall consist of not more <br \/>than fifteen members; and the management committee of a private unaided school shall <br \/>consist of not more than twenty-one members; However in the case of senior secondary schools <br \/>offering vocational subject additional member(s) (subject expert(s) as per subject offered <br \/>maybe appointed.<br \/><b>8.2.2<\/b> subject to provisions of clause 8.1 and the total number of members specified in clause <br \/><b>8.2.1<\/b>, every management committee shall include the following namely:\u2014<br \/>(a) The Head of the school. S\/he will be a Member Secretary of the School Management <br \/>Committee; <br \/>(b) Two parents of students studying in the school. One father and one mother of students <br \/>specifically in co-educational schools. <br \/>(c) Two teachers of the schools; <br \/>(d) Two other persons (of whom one shall be women); who are, or have been, teachers of <br \/>any other school or of any college, to be nominated by the Trust\/Society\/Company; <br \/>(e) Two members to be nominated by the Board; <br \/>(f) The remaining members to be nominated or elected as the case may be, in accordance <br \/>with the rules and regulations of the society\/trust\/Company running the school. <br \/>(g) Members may be nominated as per the conditions, if any, laid down in the \u201cNo Objection <br \/>Certificate\u201d. <br \/>(h) At least fifty percent of members should be women. <br \/>Provided further that the above provisions shall be implemented with immediate effect and <br \/>the schools affiliated earlier and not complying with the above provisions shall be required to <br \/>take remedial measures with suitably qualified substitutes within a year of notification of <br \/>these bylaws.<br \/><b>8.3<\/b> The term of the members of the Management Committee shall be three years. A <br \/>member can be re-nominated for another term but a member cannot remain in office for <br \/>more than two consecutive terms except for ex-officio members and the members of the<br \/>Trust\/Society\/Company.<br \/><b>8.4 <\/b>Powers and Functions of the School Management Committee<br \/>Subject to the overall control of the Society\/Trust\/ Company the duties, powers and <br \/>responsibilities of the School Management Committee shall include but not be limited to the <br \/>following:<br \/><b>8.4.1<\/b> It shall supervise the activities of the school for its smooth functioning.<br \/><b>8.4.2<\/b> It will work according to the specific directions given by the Society\/Trust\/Company <br \/>regarding admission policy. However, it shall ensure that admissions are made as per merit <br \/>without discretion of gender, disability, religion, race, caste, creed, and place of birth, etc. <br \/>strictly as per state policy.<br \/><b>8.4.3<\/b> It shall look into the welfare of the teachers and employees of the school.<br \/><b>8.4.4<\/b> It shall evolve both short-term and long-term plans for the improvement of the school.<br \/><b>8.4.5<\/b> It shall make appointments of teachers and non-teaching staff.<br \/><b>8.4.6<\/b> It shall exercise financial powers beyond those delegated to the Principal within the <br \/>budgetary provisions of the school.<br \/><b>8.4.7<\/b> It shall take stock of academic programs and progress of the school without <br \/>jeopardizing the academic freedom of the Principal.<br \/><b>8.4.8<\/b> It shall guide the Principal in school management.<br \/><b>8.4.9 <\/b>It shall ensure that the norms given in the Acts\/Rules of the State\/UT and the CBSE <br \/>regarding terms and conditions of service and other rules governing recognition\/Affiliation of <br \/>the school is strictly adhered to.<br \/><b>8.4.10<\/b> It shall ensure that no financial irregularity is committed and no irregular procedure <br \/>concerning admission\/examinations is adopted.<br \/><b>8.4.11<\/b> It shall approve the rates of Fees and other charges subject to the conditions laid <br \/>down in Chapter-7.<br \/><b>8.4.12<\/b> It shall review the budget of the school presented by the Principal and forward the <br \/>same to Society\/Trust\/Company for approval.<br \/><b>8.4.13 <\/b>It shall ensure the safety and security of children and staff of the school and give <br \/>directions for improvement.<br \/><b>8.4.14<\/b> It shall look into grievances of the teachers and staff in connection with their service <br \/>conditions and pay etc. and dispose of such grievances per applicable rules.<br \/><b>8.4.15<\/b> The School Management Committee will meet at least twice in an academic session.<br \/><b>8.5<\/b> The provisions contained in Acts and Regulations of the Appropriate Government will <br \/>prevail upon the provisions related to School Management Committee in
